I have experience with the first Cloudflow, having tested it during a race that required a 10km run after a 40km bike ride. What I love about the Cloudflow is the perfect balance of the midsole foam, thanks to its CloudTech technology. It gradually distributes weight with every step you take, and it also features a Speedboard that helps distribute weight while providing propulsion. The upper is well-ventilated, making it comfortable to wear even in hot weather, which is why many triathletes love it.
When it comes to this new model, the New Cloudflow, after trying it on in the Wide version, it feels more comfortable. They've also updated the On Cloud foam to Helion™, which provides softness and good rebound. What surprised me, however, is the included insole, which feels bouncy as if there is gel cushioning for the feet. It was a bit surprising as I wasn't used to it, but it's very well-made.
The On Running Cloudflow 3 Wide still stands out with the brand's proprietary CloudTec® foam sole technology, incorporating the ultra-lightweight Helion™ superfoam for a fast response and full cushioning. The upper features a new design for a snug fit, and this is the first time the Cloudflow series has been available in a Wide Fit version. \\
What's special about the materials On Running chose for the Cloudflow 3 Wide is that they follow the "Made for more, with less" philosophy. The upper is constructed using a seamless sewing technique, making it stylish and eco-friendly by using 70% recycled polyester. The sole has an additional rubber layer to help with grip and cornering.
The design of the On Running Cloudflow 3 Wide follows the concept of being a shortcut for runners to reach their peak. This Cloudflow Wide model is even faster than its predecessor, thanks to the Speedboard® technology specifically designed for speed, covering distances from 5km up to 21km.
